An initiative by Mrs. Bhavana Jain as an individual , present Secretary of CARE FOUNDATION which was named as Shagun Mehandi Classes was meant to provide knowledge to girls and females in locals and slums about the Old Traditional Mehandi Art. As this got attached with CARE Foundation it turned its way to social by trying to preserve the rich culture behind mehandi art which is taking change into a commercial profession day by day. Going professional
may not seem wrong but when it comes about losing the cultural and traditional value was to be considered. So Shagun Mehandi started to dedicate efforts to preserve the culture in minds of its students atlleast. Further Shagun Mehandi Classes got changed to SHAGUN PRIDE – A wing for women under CARE as it was found necessary to join in more such enthusiast females to motivate others to change their situation from worst to better. Shagun Pride then started initiatives like Digitisation of women, Legal Seminars for women, Teacher Training for women etc. A vision is set to gather and expose women power towards empowerment of those under burdened situations.

Digital India Mission – A mission that motivated a lot of youth and elders too. But with few mere advertisements and large hoardings besides streets would not make any difference at local levels. This was the thought that inspired CARE Foundation to create and initiative named DIGI-WOMANIYA that aimed at developing a sense of Digital Knowledge among local residing women, as also make them smart enough to utilize the smartness of the smart phone accompanying them every minute. CARE came up with a mission as it believed that Digitization of Woman is must for the success of Digital India Mission. CARE Foundation is motivating youth to join in this movement and utilize their skills on Social media, online transactions, knowledge apps, legal and safety apps etc to teach and train women at local level. Till now CARE FOUNDATION has trained near to 50 women. A vision is set to frame a large initiative out of this idea to benefit and generate digitally educated women in all levels of society.

Working in the field of education at local level, CARE came across many individuals that were well immersed with ability to teach effectively but lacked exact skills to teach as well a technical knowledge of the field. With the initiative by Mrs. Bhavana Jain, present Secretary of CARE FOUNDATION , it came up with an awareness among girls and females who left their career way behind in their life to achieve a small success in the field of noble profession i.e teaching. This small impetus gives them a new approach towards their life. The life that was halted for some or the other reason gets a way to move ahead. Also it generates an opportunity for them to get into a good profession or job thus allowing them and their life to enlarge their dreams. A vision is set to motivate more and more and girls and women to come out of the shell of failure in their life.

While continuing its work in field of talent motivation and development CARE FOUNDATION came up with many kids and youth with dedicated efforts who faced monetary lagging or financial deficiency as an obstacle between them and achievement they deserve. So CARE got an idea to raise support to such talents ; whether be it any talent, skills or sports. It aims at raising sponsors or funds to support any opportunity a kid or teenager gets to fulfill his or her
dreams in life. The vision is dream of a needy is supported by someone who is capable of taking care of that dream… when thought big someone may be supporting a next champion for our country.

The sadness of Kerela Flood that destroyed lives of many on one side and the thankful efforts of
NGO’s like GOONJ on other side , combined with thoughts of CARE FOUNDATION’s team got to
a finalized initiative called “COLLECT FOR THE NEEDY”. The aim behind such an initiative was its
not only such natural disasters that ruin in lives of people , but some areas are always under
such threat of lives destruction due to lack of supplies and production of necessary things. So
why to wait for anything to happen, rather collect for the time of need whenever possible. The
vision is every family or household comes out with the excess or unwanted storage at their
homes to serve the lives of all those who need them whether be them influenced with a natural
disaster or just by the burden of poverty.

Law being the base of proper functioning of any country and moreover India having the largest written constitution, then why not the people be aware of such knowledge that stand for their benefit and safeguarding. This idea led to start of LEGAL AWARENESS CAMPS organised by CARE FOUNDATION. To make it more impactful CARE FOUNDATION got tied up with G.J.Advani Law College of Bandra West to facilitate such seminars with students of Law College to preside
over various Laws towards the targeted audience. With an aim to carry on this initiative for many upcoming years CARE FOUNDATION has created a LEGAL WING to conduct such seminars ahead. This wing includes Lawyers, present day pass outs as well as undergraduates in field of Law.
